Episode 38 - Kokoro no yoake

Kaika tells Miaka that if she stays, he'll make her happy; she should think it over
Tamahome is led to abandoned village by Soi
Kaika's parents explain to Miaka that they found him by the river, half-drowned, and gave him the potion
Miaka thinks that she can't see the others, can't return home, and can't call Suzaku
Kaika givers her the potion, but she drops it, saying she can't forget everyone
Meanwhile, Tamahome says he won't sleep with Soi/Miaka, because he believes she can still call Suzaku
Kaika knows about Tamahome -- he knows he's Amiboshi
Amiboshi explains why he became a seishi: to revive Kutou -- but he realized he didn't want to fight, and that without him, they couldn't call Seiryuu (but Miaka tells him there's another way)
Miaka will leave to take Yui away from Nakago
Tomo reveals his illusion to Tamahome
Kutou soldiers attack the village; Amiboshi explains he had sensed Nakago's presence earlier
Miaka runs off and gets in trouble, Amiboshi kills the Kutou soldiers with his flute, and feels the ki of Suboshi and Tomo
After making fun of Tomo's weird face and clothes, Tamahome escapes, only to be cornered on a cliff
Tomo reveals to Tamahome that the other seishi are trapped in an illusion
Amiboshi senses that Tamahome is nearby, but Miaka says she can't go to him; Amiboshi tells her to stay put -- he'll go get Tamahome
Yui and Nakago are on their way to Sairou, while Miaka runs away and encounters Soi
