Episode 37 - Genwaku no Nukumori

Phantom Embrace

• Keisuke and Tetsuya go to the Tokyo station
• Miaka tells Tamahome that she can't marry him because Nakago defiled her
• Tamahome asks to look at her body, and says nothing has changed, so nothing between them will change -- she's all he has, so he'll make her into the world's happiest bride
• Miaka runs away because she can't face Tamahome
• Miaka falls into a pit and hurts her leg
• Suboshi appears and tells her not to move -- then kills the rabid animal behind her that he was really talking to
• Therefore, it's not really Suboshi, is it!
• Tamahome meanwhile curses Nakago for taking away all he has loved
• Tomo watches as Tamahome goes ballistic over Tama (cat)'s Miaka impersonation
• Miaka wakes up with "Suboshi"/Kaika in Sairokoku
• Kaika's family had given her a potion used for surgery that makes you forget pain
• Kaika holds up a flute -- it's Amiboshi!!
• Nakago explains to Tomo that he couldn't touch Miaka because a red light surrounded her
• Tomo will take care of it, and use Soi's power
• While Miaka eats, Kaika's parents ask her where she'll go, and then conclude that she should stay and become Kaika's wife
• Miaka explains to Kaika that she's lost all that she's loved, but she can't just forget it
• Other seishi are still in desert illusion
• Tomo and Soi are going to take some of Tamahome's ki (chi)
• Kaika's mom gives Miaka the potion, thinking it could erase her sad memories, but she gave her an overdose
• Tamahome thinks he's found Miaka, but we all know it's Soi, disguised by Tomo
• Kaika gives his ki to Miaka to break her fever
• Miaka wakens and Kaika tells her that he wants to be with her <./UL>
